Move any potted plants, lawn ornaments or lighting away from the area you will be pressure washing.

Select the nozzle of the pressure washer marked for stone or concrete.

Start the pressure washer, point the nozzle towards the area you want to clean and keep the nozzle 3 or 4 feet away from the surface. Use slow, orderly movements to clean the concrete, using only water at this stage. Do not point the water stream directly at masonry or grout.

After cleaning the driveway with just water, you may opt to add a commercial detergent to clean further. Once applied, wait 10 – 15 minutes (or as instructed by the package directions) and rinse using the pressure washer (only water).

Allow at least 48 hours for the driveway to dry before applying any sealer or paint.
