Identify any dents or holes in your ceiling and patch with a spackling compound.
Prime your ceiling and allow to dry for 4-6 hours.
Cover your walls and floor using tarps and masking tape.
Cover your head with a painter’s head sock and wear safety glasses, the texture sprayer can be quite messy.
Mix your texture/popcorn according to the package instructions. Fill the hopper of the texture sprayer with the mixture and then turn the compressor on.
Use a light hand and continuous movement to avoid over-saturating any areas. Apply multiple coats as needed, letting dry thoroughly between coats.
